belting out a few christmas carols before 8am. in february. trust me.

a common question i hear is "what exactly is autism?"
brenda, one of my favorite writers on the subject, shared this post recently
that answers the question quite well. i still feel like i am learning so much,
and sometimes have difficulty articulating what i've gleaned so far.
god is so good to me, to put people like this in my path. i'm grateful for those ahead of me
in this journey who are so gracious in sharing their wisdom!

i'm reading this book.
"when the eyes of our hearts are enlightened, we read the bible not for reference or tips, but for water.
we read for more and more knowledge of the hope we have been called to,
for more and more glimpses of the riches of our glorious inheritance."
that the god of our lord jesus christ, the father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom
and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened,
that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you,
what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
ephesians 1:17-18

  1. Good morning. Just been hanging in Ephesians for the last week. The whole book has been an encouragement to me. Looking for encouragement of who I am rather than what I think I am. Have a great day!!!

  5. girl. i am educating myself on autism. our girl is a challenge... aspergers has been mentioned and instead of freaking out, i'm trying to trust. you help me do that. so thank you. i appreciate your perspective and your heart in the midst of your journey. thank you for sharing this story. i know it's hard, but thank you. to see God in it is encouraging to my own walk and faith.

i am reading through Exodus and just finished reading about the Tabernacle. i am reminded that our God is a God of great detail... everything has purpose and nothing is wasted. i also am finally finishing up "Notes from the Tilt-a-Whirl." it's about time. i need to look at the book your reading. sounds so beneficial.

    ending novella now. love you.
