ten on ten {january}

happy thursday evening!
it's soon six o' clock and i have no earthly clue what dinner will be. ha!

i want you to know that i struggle on days like today.
it's been so fun for me to do little projects like this, documenting little moments from my day.

what isn't fun is not having my sweetie elijah home.
he leaves for school, then his aba therapist picks him up
and they may or may not come home for lunch and therapy.
today they popped in for a fast lunch then they were off again.
and i was alone. all day.
sounds dreamy maybe. but i'm not quite to that point, seeing the dreamy in it all.
i literally sit around,
trying to remember what to even do without elijah home, squealing and jumping around.
thankfully, i'm getting better at being productive and keeping occupied.
honestly, i hope i never get too accustomed to this schedule. because i hate it.
feel free to pray for me :)
we are loving the amazing progress we are seeing, and we adore the therapists!
it's just difficult some days. and i really noticed the lonely today.
anyway.

i remembered it was ten on ten day at 7:45ish am.

the sun is just coming up when elijah leaves for school.

in the morning i like to light all my candles and turn on my scentsy warmer.
our apartment is small, so the delicious smells quickly fill up our whole place. i love it.

i'm a hot mom. what can i say.

i showered and fixed my hair today. write it down.

a delicious cara cara orange with my lunch, don't mind if i do.

this is a ho ho doll.
crystal at little bit funky makes them, and i think they're super cute.
these special ho ho dolls are also incredibly hard to get.

last week i got an email from someone asking if it would be ok if they sent elijah a ho ho.
um, heck yes!?
this darling mama is a reader and shop customer of mine. we don't know each other.
yet she felt like eg was supposed to have this cutie thing, and snagged it super fast in a ho ho sale.
a one of a kind buddy, for my one of a kind boy.

thanks, christy! i can't wait to get a picture of eg with this little guy! he loves his "ho ho ho ho ho"!

creating and photographing new treats for my shop

editing and listing the new stuff

quick trip to the grocery store. don't worry, i bought granola. pfft.
also, their knock-off of froot loops made me laugh.

while i waited for eg to come home, i did some super exciting things.
and by exciting, i mean switched out the hand towels.

did you participate with sweet rebekah for ten on ten this month? i'd love to see!

  10. Changing of the hand towels is a big deal! Changes how everything looks. Love your slippers.

Funny, I crave a lone time and then when I get it I am lost... drifty.

  11. I had that mind drifty feeling when my kiddos first went to school. What is the saying? 0 to 60...I had that reversed. Thankfully my son does his therapies at school and home, done by 3:30. I'm used to it now and taking advantage of my time...don't worry, it'll come. You're still super productive. Gorgeous pictures!
