I'm Denise; Michael's wife, Noah (14), Emilie (13), and Josie's (10) mommy.  

I love the LORD my GOD.  "Praise is who I am, praise is what I do."  I'm passionate about my family 

and leaving a legacy of blessing.  I have a love/hate relationship with home schooling.  

I value time spent with a good friend.  I'm allergic to casseroles, 

addicted to popcorn, and go nowhere without my lipstick. 

5 years ago on Good Friday I began blogging.  My blog Victory Rd. has provided a space 

for me to delight in my Savior, my redeemed and rescued life, 

and in the extraordinary family He has so generously blessed me with.  

I love words (they are my love language).  

I love the Word, and how He speaks promise into our lives. 

The name for my blog Victory Rd. was a spoken promise from our good God.  

I had a turbulent childhood beginning from my conception to a 14yr old girl and 18yr old boy, 

whose legacy to me was one plagued with curse- emotional poverty, 

drug & alcohol abuse, and sexual immorality... BUT GOD.  

Some years ago I discovered that I was conceived on Victory Rd..

At that moment of discovery I heard the Spirit whisper, 

"Denise, your life began on Victory Rd. it is intended for victory."   

God has drawn me out of that pattern of curse and every day leads me into a life of overcoming (Victory), 

and not only that, but He stirs in me a passion to leave a legacy of blessing for my children. 

The most powerful ways the LORD leads me in victory 

is through the Truth spoken in the Bible and through worship. 

The name for the shop comes out of U2 lyrics from the song Mysterious Ways, 

'If you want to 'Kiss the Sky'  better learn how to kneel," 

and from my love of the Greek definition of worship, which means to "come toward to kiss."  

I NEED to "come toward to kiss" (and be kissed by) my Savior daily! 

At Kiss the Sky we offer a variety of mounted prints artfully displaying biblical scripture, hymns, and songs.  

Each piece is intended to prompt worship of the One True God.

We also offer designs which include words, lyrics, 

or dates that serve as memorial markers to commemorate a cherished time. 

In addition to prints we offer our "Time Flies...when you're having fun" handcrafted wooden clock  

(a 12x12 size of the clock in reclaimed wood is in the works).
