coffee break {links for you}

it's easter week. it's easter week!

i've been reflecting on christ's work on the cross.
his death and resurrection are after all, the reason for my living at all!
HE IS RISEN. and that is something wonderful to celebrate!

i encourage you to take some time each day this week, if you're not already, and be still with the lord.
ask him to soften your heart to hear his message for you this special season of easter.
{our favorite reading of the resurrection is from the jesus storybook bible.}

grab a cup of hazelnut coffee or black iced tea and browse these fun easter links!

here's some scripture to ready for good friday.

and here's a favorite hymn:

Depth of mercy! Can there be
mercy still reserved for me?
Can my God his wrath forbear,
me, the chief of sinners, spare?

I have long withstood his grace,
long provoked him to his face,
would not hearken to his calls,
grieved him by a thousand falls.

I my Master have denied,
I afresh have crucified,
oft profaned his hallowed name,
put him to an open shame.

There for me the Savior stands,
shows his wounds and spreads his hands.
God is love! I know, I feel;
Jesus weeps and loves me still.

Now incline me to repent,
let me now my sins lament,
now my foul revolt deplore,
weep, believe, and sin no more.

wish i would've seen these funny bunny tattoos earlier.
helen dardik designed them. and she's a genius.

this little bunny candy pouch from mer mag is adorable, and easy to make!
