the choice {to be thankful}

since i wrote this post, i've really sought to be thankful each day.
to especially notice little things, and verbalize gratitude to the lord.
even in the midst of trials.
this month, i will be saying these thanks "out loud" on the blog.

one not so small thing recently that i'm grateful for,
was meeting some blog friends.
in real life.
i got to hug jess. i also got to steal this photo from her.
meeting her and so many other women that "get" me was truly a gift.

blogger friends becoming real life friends is amazing.
also fun? real life friends becoming blogging friends.
yep. my darling friend marie began blogging a few months ago.
i am thrilled about this. mainly because we live super far away from each other now.
i'm thankful for her, and her sharing her heart on her little corner of the internet.
she loves jesus and shines him brightly.
she's generous, creative, witty and cute as a bug.
i'm joining marie for a sweet little challenge.
to be thankful each day this month. on purpose. and write it out.
you should totally take part in the choice challenge with us! it'll bless your soul.
praise jesus.

today, i'm thankful for:
the encouraging blogging community
delicious cake batter pancakes we enjoyed for dinner
elijah's laugh

"enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
give thanks to him and praise his name."
psalm 100:4nlt

    on pinterest there was a word board that says gratitude turns what we have into enough. amen!
