diy bookcover & bookmark {via twig & thistle}

they featured it last year as a wedding favor idea.
i have loads of patterned paper that would be perfect for this project.
i love giving books as gifts. wouldn't this be a pretty way to make it extra special?
or if you had a book club party, these would be great little happies for the guests!

    You reminded me of school. Our teachers had us cover our text books in brown paper bags. Then we couldn't resist decorating them. Or scribbling love notes on them! ;)
    Of course, maybe every school did this? Or maybe we were just hicks? I don't know? Hehe

  7. How funny..I just did this with some of my old hardback books to put in my girls' room. It totally took me back to high school days when we had to cover our textbooks with brown paper bags. Much more fun this time. You're right...a perfect gift idea!
