thankful on paper {week four}

{click here to read more about thankful on paper}

 this week, the final week of this blessed project,
i thank my boo boo!
my husband patrick is my very best friend.
patrick is so smart. his best subjects are hip-hop,
shoes and cell phones in that order:)
patrick is so sweet. he helps me even if i'm being a nag.
patrick is so funny. he has a great laugh and smile!
we have shared amazing beautiful times together, traveled to fun places, laughed at weird humor, discovered delicious foods. we have also walked paths of deep sorrow-together. he has been a steady hand for me to hold, praise the lord. through loss of children, dreams and certainty, patrick has pointed me to jesus and loved me well.
we've waited together.
we've celebrated the adoption
of our super cool kid into our family!
patrick is the best papa to our son.
he humbly leads our family by christ's direction.
patrick is sensitive, i am not really that sensitive. he is introverted, i am extroverted. patrick is patient, i am definitely not patient. he is quiet, yeah, he wishes i was quiet!
when we fight, we forgive and start fresh.
i need him, every day:)
patrick loves me! for me! he accepts me as i am, yet encourages me to continue to grow. he embraces my past and wants to share my future. i am thankful.
we weep together, dream together, laugh together,
play together and pray together.
i really like him and he really likes me back, and i like him back...and that's how we keep going every day!
thanks for working so hard so i can stay home with elijah. thanks for being a great provider and an encourager to me.
patrick, i love you
and look forward to more memories as your wife!

...walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
ephesians 4:1-3esv

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you
will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
