five-o-rite!

i loved pilgrim's new feature, five-o-rite!
so much that i am joining in on the groovy fun.
these are five things i've come across lately that i love!

darling clementine always cheers me!
especially this scandinavian birch veneer tray!
"owl's house" is totally adorable, i mean just look at that owl!

all of the candle scents of
this sweet cinnamon pumpkin is my current favorite(hello autumn!) my personal preference are "food" smells. if i am not baking, i like it to at least smell like i am baking!

holla! scrabble pillows can be found on rockett st. george!
i want tons of stuff on their site, but this is my fave today!
totally recycled, available in cream and black,
SCRABBLE cushions. wow. LOVE!

love legos so much you wish you could wear them? i do!
thankfully, my dear friend damien along with his daughter brae
combine talents to whip up lego beauties like you see here!
i have a few pairs of earrings and one little pink necklace so far.
this is in my sites for my next fun lego wearable,
the stoplight necklace. i need it!
click on over to the creative fingerpost shop on etsy
and snag your fave lego treat!

these are luscious coconut cookies.
didn't find the recipe online, rather a cookbook i've had for awhile and just recently discovered this yummyness!
i made them this afternoon.
they call for semi-sweet chips (which i used today),
but i really love putting dark chocolate chips in instead.
in case you'd like to try them:

1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c. coconut
1 package chocolate chips

preheat oven to 375
mix flour, baking powder, spices and salt. beat butter until light and fluffy. gradually beat in sugar. mix in egg and vanilla. stir in the flour mixture until well blended. stir in the coconut and chips!
drop from teaspoonfuls onto un-greased baking sheets. bake for 10 minutes or until golden around edges. ENJOY!

so there you have my first ever "five-o-rite" post.
this may become a weekly thing!
i want to see YOUR favorites, so let's see your five-o-rite!
{thanks, pilgrim! xo}
